Gail Gonzales, VP Publisher
Gail is the Vice President and Publisher of Rodale Books. Previously, she was the Associate Publisher of Rodale, and prior to that, Director of Integrated Marketing at Simon & Schuster, where she worked across the company on various non-traditional book marketing and event initiatives with parent company CBS and other entities. Prior to Simon & Schuster, Gail was the Marketing Director at Hay House, where she oversaw marketing, publicity, and programming of unique online assets such as Hay House Radio, live online events, and live streaming of large-scale conferences. Prior to her publishing career, Gail held positions at corporate financial and sports marketing firms. Gail is a graduate of the College of Communication at Boston University and a native of Washington, DC. She currently resides in the Tribeca neighborhood of Manhattan.
Jennifer Levesque, VP Editorial Director
Jennifer joined Rodale in June 2013 as VP Editorial Director, overseeing the editorial department and working with Gail Gonzales to shape the trade list. Previously, she worked at both Abrams and Hyperion, editing books in a wide range of categories including diet and fitness, cooking, self-help, sports, parenting, humor, and general lifestyle. In her 22-year career, Jennifer has worked with many esteemed authors such as Alexandra Robbins, George Carlin, Oprah Winfrey, Mollie Katzen, Warren Brown, Laurie Kilmartin, Melissa Gilbert, Dr. William Davis, Dr. Thomas Campbell, and many others. A native New Yorker living in New Jersey, Jennifer is also a big fan of the Mets, the Jets, science-fiction movies, musical theater, and long Saturday morning runs.
Amy King, Executive Director, Art & Design
Amy joined Rodale in 2009 and is Executive Director Art and Design, overseeing trade and direct books. Previously she served as creative director for trade publishing at Bloomsbury USA. An industry veteran, Amy has also worked at Doubleday, Simon and Schuster, and in London at Dorling Kindersley. Awards include AIGA’s 50 Books competition and Print’s Regional Design Annual. She is a graduate of Parsons School of Design in NYC and a native New Yorker. She lives in Manhattan with her husband, two sons, and a black cat named Quinn.
